Abstract

This article examines the theoretical and methodological foundations of managing stage fright among art school students and its significance in developing performance stability. Stage fright is considered not merely as psychological fear of public performance, but as a complex phenomenon associated with the performer’s emotional state, concentration, self-control, stage culture, and regulation of creative activity. Particular attention is paid to the concept of stage culture, which is interpreted as a system of psychological, aesthetic, communicative, and performance qualities manifested during public performance. The article analyzes breathing regulation, attention concentration, relaxation, positive self-regulation, mental rehearsal of stage situations, and pre-performance psychological preparation as important techniques for managing stage anxiety.
