Maqolada Jon Steynbekning The Pearl qissasi va Ulug‘bek Hamdamning Bir piyola suv hikoyasida moddiy ehtiyoj, istak hamda ramziy detal munosabati qiyoslanadi. Yaqindan o‘qish usuli buyumning amaliy vazifasi, undan foydalanish shartlari, hikoya vaqti va axborot taqsimotini birgalikda tekshirishga yo‘naltiriladi. Tahlil marvarid bilan suvning umumiy ramziy ma’nosini qidirishdan ko‘ra ularning turlicha qadrlanish jarayonini ochib beradi. Steynbekda baholash vakolati va kelajak umidi, Hamdamda esa ehtiyojni qondirish uchun sarflangan vaqt va kechikkan anglash yetakchi ahamiyat kasb etadi. Chanqoqlikning tabiiy ehtiyoj ekani, yuk mazmunining yashirilishi va yakuniy kashfiyot hisobga olinadi. Natijada ramziy umumlashma buyum, tanlov va bilim o‘rtasidagi munosabatdan kelib chiqishi asoslanadi.

Аннотация

В статье сопоставляются материальная потребность, желание и символическая деталь в повести Джона Стейнбека The Pearl и рассказе Улугбека Хамдама Bir piyola suv. Метод пристального чтения объединяет анализ практической функции предмета, условий доступа, повествовательного времени и распределения информации. Рассматриваются различия между спорной оценкой будущего благополучия и телесной необходимостью, сопровождаемой запоздалым пониманием. У Стейнбека жемчужина концентрирует конкурирующие представления о будущем; у Хамдама вода выявляет временную цену ограниченного обмена. Учет скрытого груза позволяет избежать сведения жажды к алчности. Показано, что символическое обобщение возникает из изменяющихся отношений между предметом, выбором и знанием, сохраняя различия художественных решений двух авторов.

Abstract

This article compares material need, desire, and symbolic detail in John Steinbeck’s The Pearl and Ulugbek Hamdam’s Bir piyola suv. Close reading examines practical use, conditions of access, narrative time, and the distribution of information. The comparison distinguishes contested valuation and projected security from bodily necessity and delayed recognition. Steinbeck’s pearl concentrates competing claims about the future, while Hamdam’s water exposes the temporal cost of an apparently limited transaction. Attention to the concealed cargo prevents thirst from being reduced to greed. The analysis argues that symbolic meaning develops through changing relations among objects, decisions, and knowledge.
